5 WAYS TO DEEP THRUST WITH A TILTED UTERUS

By Airial Clatney

For those of you who are unfamiliar, a typical uterus is about the size of a pear and sits just above the bladder and points forward. About 20-30% of women have a uterus that is tipped forwards, meaning that it would point up or towards their back. If you're not sure if you have a tipped or tilted uterus, a good indication is that intercourse via rear entry generally feels much more painful because the head of the penis is more likely to aggressively make contact with deep pelvic floor muscles, the cervix or one of the ovaries.

With that in mind, missionary position (or penis on top) is actually one of the best positions for people who have a tilted uterus! Any kind of deep thrusting though may be painful for someone with a tilted uterus, no matter what the position is, so here are 5 things you can do that can help make deep thrusting in missionary more pleasurable and less painful:

1. FOREPLAY

Prioritize foreplay which will relax your pelvic muscles and allow for deeper more pleasurable thrusting. Oral sex is an amazing way to relax your pelvis and even an orgasm before penetration will help with the tension, so communicate this method with your partner. There is no pressure to cum at the same time and you could even have multiple orgasms this way.

2. TOUCH BELLIES

Touch bellies in missionary while thrusting, this will position your uterus and pelvic muscles in a more convenient and 'out of the way' place so that you won't feel as much friction from the head of the penis.

3. LUBE IT UP!

Use copious amounts of lube to prevent unnecessary friction. We recommend our Wild Thing, hemp-seed oil infused lube because of its anti-inflammatory properties which really help with relaxing your muscles and decreasing pain.

4. MAKE ADJUSTMENTS

Try grinding and swaying in a deep missionary position instead of rapid thrusting. This will still mimic what it feels like to have deep thrusting but decrease the amount of pain which often comes from its fast in and out motion.

5. TAKE CONTROL

Bend your knees and squeeze them together when you feel you need more control of the depth of thrusting, and experiment with your edges and boundaries so that you both know how deep to go before it starts to hurt.

Key Takeaways: You can still have satisfying and deep penetrative sex with a tipped or tilted uterus, it just takes some adjustments, communication and practice! The importance of listening to your body about what feels good versus what feels painful will get you to where you want to be and with a little patience, you and you’re partner(s) will be in way too deep before you know it! (Get it? )

Wishing all of you angels the most pleasurable and pain free sex moving forward!
